A Scoop of Sunshine

I make plans, Golden and festive, As I glance, At the sliding sands in the Hour glass.

Gazing at the flowing sands of Time, Reminiscing times sublime, Captures a momentary happiness, That leaves a smile on forlorn faces.

As I walk from home to office, everyday during the cold winter mornings, I find myself walking on the sunny side of the road, along with a myriad of people – some street smart folks, some enjoying their morning drag, some health conscious beings jogging their way along the harbor and some professionals like me bustling their way to work – all on the sunny side of the road.

The Wind howls a mellow tune, Blowing across the lonely town. As the curtains of my French window flutter, I drift into a reminiscence Of a time -
