12 tips for everything:

A lonesome wanderer,
Weary of life,
What is the redemption from this strife?

If I were to pick a charm

This post is coming up a little late, nevertheless here it is:

My thoughts on Thanksgiving

It is Thanksgiving and I am pondering,
What are the things I am thankful for?
There sure is a very big list -
A good life, love and comfort, amidst.

I traverse the empty crowded streets,
In search of my true calling.
The vastness of the city of dreams
Gives me a dismal feeling.

Unusual Guests

It was a pleasant evening and Fall was manifesting itself in every form. The sun had just set and the world seemed to linger in that limbo for a while. I was returning to my apartment, walking the narrow path darkened by the trees on either sides, when I saw a neighborhood regular approach me.

So you think you can...wait?

While some people might claim they have become a pro, I am still far behind in mastering the art of patiently waiting for someone to turn up or something to happen or wait for my fellow carpoolers to finish their work so that I can finally go home!!!
You guessed it right, it is the last one that is bothering me at the moment.

The Wind

The Wind howls a mellow tune,
Blowing across the lonely town.
As the curtains of my French window flutter,
I drift into a reminiscence
Of a time -

A strange beckoning

In the silence of the night, soft waves rock my boat as I cross the purple waters of the river to the other side. All I can hear is the water splashing against the oar of the small wooden boat. The tall oarsman is hooded by the darkness. I can't see his face. His long thin hands meticulously row the boat.

What’s with the Mars, anyway?

Hey diddle diddle, The Cat and the fiddle, The Cow jumped over the moon. The little Dog laughed, To see such sport, And the Dish ran away with the Spoon.
Now whether the Cows have developed as much to jump over the moon or not, our men definitely have much to rejoice as they are not too far away from reaching their homeland, Mars!
