Packing Pain

We always underestimate the number of shoes we own, until we start packing. Don't believe me? Start packing and see for yourself :-)

When we start packing usually the first thing that comes to our mind is our stash of clothes, the must have-s like jackets, belts, bags, makeup etc and somewhere in the bottom of that ladder sits our footwear and that's when the table is turned, on us, of course. Shoes - 1, Me - 0.

Then the frantic arranging, re-arranging, weighing, re-weighing starts...and the unassuming weighing machine too seizes that opportunity to show its importance in our lives.
Don't believe me, again? Wait with patience, lifting that heavy bag, until you see the infamous "Err." flashing on the weight screen. The whole world makes sense then. You realize you are just a minuscule dot in front of the divine providence.

Finally after what seems like hours, you feel you have got it all under control.. and suddenly, out of no where appears that one pair of shoes which does not belong to you, but you are supposed to carry along. It becomes the instant eye-sore! Looking around for a place to stuff that pair suddenly makes you realize that there are other things too which need to go in at the last minute.

That's the time of divination, my friend. You realize $75 for an extra flight baggage, is nothing when compared to peace of mind, relaxed back and shoulders and not having to choose between Guess and Gucci.
