To the Rain Clouds

Oh, the rain clouds yonder!
Carrying the water pot,
As you blissfully wander,
Where do you come from, where do you go?
I saw the clear blue sky, not so long ago.

You come with your friends -
The howling wind, while the lightening bends.
They clatter at the windows, splatter at the rails,
And sometimes, you even bring hails.

Tell me, in your voyages,
Do you see lands that cry apart in dismal voices?
Or, do you see the flush green scenery,
Clipped away with your topiary?

Do you see people dancing in frolic?
Or, do you see the closed doors,
Hiding behind a mind so phobic?

Or, do you just pour in a trance,
Dance, to the rhythm of your thunder drums?
Led by the wind, that drifts like the mind,
Such is your rhyme, so intertwined!

Oh, the rain clouds yonder!
Just remember, as you blissfully wander,
Bring back the sunshine once you are done.
Your downpour is life,
But what is a day without the sun?

Blow to a land another,
Dance to the beating drums of thunder,
Until time ends -
With your howling wind, while the lightning bends.
